This means from 12 December 2017, any image with a Hashtag that you follow will reflect on your instagram feed. Also if you engage post with the same Hashtag by commenting or liking on them, instagram will suggest similar content to you in the future.
It is easier to track content with similar themes, topics and trends. By using popular hashtags, your page is more likely to turn show up when people are searching for trending or popular topics.
