Frank Edwards who rebranded gospel rock in Nigeria has released 4 albums. In 2012 he won, We Africa’s best male vocalist while grabbing three awards at the Nigerian Gospel Music Awards for – Male Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Male Vocal. His recent album “Frankincense” which featured veterans in the gospel industry such as Micah Stampley and Nathaniel Bassey topped the chart on iTunes few hours of its release. One of the singles from the album ‘Frankincense’ was one of the most streamed song on streaming platform Spinlet in the month of July. Frank has also had the honour of releasing a song with American singer, song writer, pastor and producer Don Moen. It is safe to say that award winning musician Frank Edwards has carved a niche for himself in the gospel industry in Nigeria and has continued to excel.
Frank is a man of many talents, he is a producer and master mixer as well as the founder of Rocktown Records which he created as a platform to develop the new generation of upcoming talents. The Frank Edward experience is intense, it is uplifting, it is motivational and it has created a balance for the old and young generation of gospel artists. The 26-year-old star has heavily influenced the life of many Nigerians and has become a household name in record time since his debut of 2008.
