By Motionviu
The talented fashion blogger Sharon Ojong is a force to reckon with and achieving great feats in her career. She is the Editor In Chief of sharonojong.com, TV producer for Spice TV Africa amongst other things.
Sharon Ojong introduced herself and said. My full name is Rekana Sharon Ojong. I was born, buttered, and schooled in Calabar. I have a diploma in Public Administration and a BSc in Policy Studies & Analysis. Currently I am based in Lagos where I work as a TV Producer with SPICE FASHION CHANNEL but I tend to put my eggs in many baskets.
Sharon Ojong talks about how she has come long way from Koko mansion and said. I wouldn’t say I have re-invented myself because I was 23 when I got on Koko mansion in 2009, and turned 30 this year. So 7 years later, I would say I’ve grown up (and still growing), finally embracing the woman I’ve always had the potential to be, and starting to catch up on those dreams I’ve been chasing most of my life.
Sharon Ojong talks about she become a fashion consultant/stylist and said. I have always loved fashion and enjoyed dressing up my friends and family who had trouble finding something to wear, since I was a child. I loved fashion and didn’t even know what I wanted to do in fashion until few years ago. I just knew I would either end up being a Foreign Relations Analyst, or turn my hobby into a career. And through work experience and curiosity, I’m finding my niche in fashion.
Sharon Ojong talks about how she is able to combine all hera jobs and said. Naturally I’m a mulit-tasker but how I find the strength to do TV Production, Fashion Blogging and Fashion Consulting (Fashion PR & Creative Direction) is all GOD! Because even though these are all fashion related work, sometimes I ask myself how I am able to do it and my only answer is Phil 4:13.
Secondly, in Jim Rohn’s words ‘If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.‘ I don’t think I have any reason or excuse not to do what I love, and know how to do.
Sharon Ojong talks about how she managed to keep her work life and personal life separate. I stay focus on my work honestly. I don’t have a life that’s public and another that’s hidden from the public eye. My personal life is a balance of work and play. So for now, there’s nothing I don’t want the media to know apart from what I’m working on.
Sharon Ojong talks about projects that she want's people to know about and said nothing thing special yet. For now, it’s all about sharing my evolving style, fashion reviews and style tips on my blog with great visuals and detailed information. I’m also focused on producing and creating digital/TV content, and collaborating with other creative who understand the business of fashion and the opportunities that exist in our fast growing fashion industry in Africa
Sharon Ojong give a word of advice to her fans and young creatives and said you too can have or be anything you set your mind to. Believe in yourself and know that every good and generous thought, word and act makes a difference
